In the above context it is to bring to your notice that here is not a single hospital or doctor of hemophilia disease in Rajsthan. At present there are about 5,000 hemofilic patients in Rajasthan. (As per WHO there is one hemofilic patient per ten thousand population.) Also there are no testing/checking facilities for hemophilia disease.

30% of the hemophilic patients die upto the age of 30 years while 60% patients are physically disabled upto the age of 30 years. This is due to lack of knowledge and absence of proper treatment. 

The treatment of hemophilia is factor VIII which is too much expensive for a common man & he can't afford this treatment. The patients have to go big cities for the treatment of hemophilia.

For this terrible disease there no provisions for the help of patients form Govt. Side even when the treatment is too much expensive. This is the only non curable disease for which any aid form Govt. is not available. 

Bikaner medical relief Society is a institution (NGO) in the state which is working on hemophilia. Our NGO is performing various activities like free tests, providing treatment at reasonable rates, organizing blood donation camps, awareness among people about this disease from last five years.

All these activates are helpful but not enough for patients & our society wants to perform the following activities.  

            1.         To develop a hemophilia care center / Hospital.

            2.         To provide free treatment i.e. factor 8, 9 & Fiba.

            3.         Test facility in Rajasthan for hemophilia.

            4.         Education plans for this disease.

            5.         To help the dependent of those patients who died through this disease in short age due to lack of proper knowledge & treatment. 

            Therefore I would appeal for providing financial assistance to my organization for the above works.
